Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Atelier Rêverie (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when you visit our website, browse our Shop, or reach out about a collaboration, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its Dutch implementation (AVG).

Who We Are (Data Controller)

Atelier Rêverie is based in The Hague, the Netherlands, and is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42010700. Atelier Rêverie is responsible for how personal data is processed on this website, in accordance with the GDPR. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at info@atelierreverie.com.

What Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact & Collaboration Inquiries: your name, email address, company or brand (if provided), and the content of your message.
  • Analytics: anonymized usage data via Google Analytics — pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymized.

— Shop & Affiliate Clicks: when you click through to a retailer via our Shop, we track only anonymized click data to understand interest in featured items — we do not receive any personal data from these clicks. We do not handle orders, payments, shipping or returns — these are handled entirely by the external retailer once you leave our site. Our Shop is currently in curation and will contain affiliate links at a later date.

— Technical Data: standard technical information collected via our hosting provider, Webflow, such as IP address, browser type, and operating system.

How We Use Your Data

We use this information to respond to your inquiries and collaboration requests, to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it and refine our curated selection, to measure interest in items featured in our Shop, and to comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds: your consent (for analytics and marketing cookies, given via our cookie banner), contract (for handling collaboration requests), legitimate interest (for the secure and reliable operation of our website), and legal obligation, where applicable. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are necessary for hosting via Webflow, analytics cookies from Google Analytics after your consent, and marketing cookies used to measure engagement with our Shop and affiliate links, also only after your consent. You can manage your preferences at any time via the cookie banner, or by adjusting your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse the site.

Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared only with service providers who help us run the site and our Shop: Webflow (hosting), Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, anonymized), and affiliate networks or retailers linked from our Shop — their own privacy policy applies once you leave our site. Each of these parties is required to handle data in a GDPR-compliant manner. Some of these providers, including Google and Webflow, may process data in the United States; such transfers take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Data Retention

We keep contact and collaboration inquiries for 2 years, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained for 14 months, and technical logs for 12 months.

Your Rights (EU/EEA)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@atelierreverie.com — we aim to respond within 30 days.

Security

We use SSL encryption via our hosting provider, Webflow, along with access controls and regular updates to help protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers, such as Webflow and Google, may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this occurs, it is done under appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
